Bio

Local to Providence, RI, Natasha joined the budding after-school music program Community MusicWorks at age 7. There, she played with other kids from her immediate community (including her four other siblings). Natasha particularly enjoyed the opportunities to connect with other people which music afforded her, like summer festivals at AppleHill Center for Chamber Music and Sphinx Performance Academy at Oberlin. She would continue to play music and indulge in many other creative pursuits: acting on stage, photography, latin-dance, and fashion. Natasha graduated from Brown University ‘16 with a BA in Fine Arts 'and her Pre-Medical requirements. No longer convinced of her plan to attend medical school, she turned back to the subjects and environments that kept her captivated. Natasha taught music for several years at Croft School in Providence and departed to pursue a Master’s Degree in Music Performance for cello. Natasha completed her performance degree at URI spring 2023. She currently works as a freelance cellist in New England.
